A true “sacred” mountain, on par with Australia’s Ayers Rock and a handful of other natural landmarks around the world, as told by leading experts in every field: geology, archaeology, history, literature, sports, and mysterious phenomena. In the documentary film, which features original music, rare artifacts will be displayed and discoveries—previously unknown to the general public—will be revealed, findings that have led to the redating of human presence at Bismantova.
The authors
Massimo Dallaglio - Director
He holds a degree in Political Science with a focus on sociology from the University of Bologna. A freelance journalist and professional photographer, he has served as editor-in-chief of the online magazine MolloTutto since 2004. In 2019, he directed “Hasty Decisions,” a short film about bullying that was screened at the Cannes Film Festival and won an award at the Berlin Flash Film Festival that same year.
Francesco Gerardi - Screenplay
He graduated with honors in Philosophy from the University of Bologna. A journalist since 2010, he has worked as an editor for the daily newspaper QN (Il Resto del Carlino, La Nazione, and Il Giorno). He has been teaching philosophy and history in high schools since 2020.
